    The filter is "poly-sinc-gauss-long".

In fact, after reloading "Optimized Defaults" and resetting "RAM profile: XMP II and Specific performance core=55", everything is still fine with AMSDM7EC 512+fs.

But ASDM7EC and ASDM7ECv2 suffers now from drop out (and not stuttering anymore ...).

    Any ideas?

PS: I have taken note of the "MSI" advice, however this is unfortunately not envisaged in the short term.

DSD1024, an update on where I am now (the way was a little long) :

I listen to a wonderful DSD1024 44kHz / poly-sinc-gauss-long / ASDM7ECv2 using “Auto rate family and Bit rate ‘Auto’ (Thanks @StreamFidelity)", on the following overclocked system:

    • CPU: i9-13900k
    • MOBO: ASUS ROG MAXIMUS Z790 EXTREME
    • RAM: G.Skill Trident Z5 RGB 2 x 16GB, 6400 MHz RAM DDR5
    • CPU COOLER: Noctua NH-D15 Chromax
    • HQPlayer OS+Embedded: Installed via "hqplayer-embedded-4.33.3-x64avx2.7z"
      • SOURCE: From another system, Roon playing FLAC 44.1kHz 16bit 2ch
