There are a lot of weird things in this hobby, the only thing which I have learned is to try to look for the alternatives if any in the Non-audio/Industrial/Research space..it saves money and offers better, measured and reliable performance...especially to things related to power. I would suggest you to wait until you get the Delta 3. After that you can plan to switch your entire system off the grid to the battery just like the @UberK did by calculating how much power would you need for your typical daily session without battery going into it's loud mode. I am also contemplating on getting the EcoFlow Delta 2 for my system, which is more than sufficient as my entire system just consumes 50 W per hour, so Delta 2 can give me roughly 20 hrs of listening time..if I consider 10% at bottom and 10% at top as reserve limits then even with total 80% battery capacity I can easily run the system for 16 Hrs a day (the demo person asked my friend to use the battery between 10% to 90% limit of the Delta 2 for max life, so I don't know the logic behind this) Regards, Audio_phool

Wait till you get your EcoFlow Delta 3, it's much quieter. Also the key to have almost noiseless battery is to make sure you are attaching the load which is less than the region where it's loud/fast fan kicks in...for EcoFlow Delta 2 that means below 600W load. If you can manage that there is nothing like it.

its good to help others. Sometimes you have ton make costly mistakes to learn. Since you have ordered EcoFlow Delta 3...it will give you cleanest power possible. I had suggested one my friend to buy EcoFlow Delt 2 for his system & he was never so happy to have such a clean power. Besides if you have an OCD then you can attach your SR Power Cell 8 to the output of EcoFlow to futher clean up the power. After all most of the Inverters in these battery power supply are SMPS which if not carefully designed or have any EMI filtering stage can prove to be noisy. BTW I have posted a very long review/article on these power conditioners here, that might be interesting and educative post for you. Regards, Audio_phool

If you have static then then it's discharge happens only once & it requires some place where the buildup happens and its discharge is one time event. Besides, Static is not transmitted through power-line, it's the EMI which gets transmitted through power-line.

@Alexanderking static is when you have charge build-up. It's static electricity. Same thing you can get on the vinyl or in winter when sometimes you touch any metal object you get that shock sensation due to charge transfer. EMI is completely different thing. It's the continuous noise which gets into the power lines which can come due to many things such as your LED lamps, refrigerators, Washing Machines, SMPS etc. Regards, Audio_phool

If it was fixed by Synergistic Research power conditioner then it wasn't static, it was EMI. Regards, Audio_phool

@The Computer Audiophile One more question regarding your setup involving Linux, Ravenna and Anubis. Which category of ethernet cable do you use? Do you use Cat 6A/7/8 cables or Cat 6/5E cables? I am using cat 8 cable to connect the computer to NADAC. Merging has not mentioned anything about Cat 6A/7/8 so i am wondering whether my issue is because of Cat 8 cable. Regards, Audio_phool

Ohh, that's surprising! On windows 10 everything worked for me without touching a single setting. But I had to turn off Wake On Lan and Energy Saving options of Ethernet adapter in Audio Linux to make everything work. Below is Merging's support article for Ethernet adapter settings which I referred and tried to replicate settings whereever possible. https://merging.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/PUBLICDOC/pages/4817173/RAVENNA+ASIO+recommended+Network+Adapter Regards, Audio_phool

Ahh, so you were talking about Aneman...yeah, in linux environment I will need another PC on Windows or MacOs & a switch. Surprisingly their last stable published firmware also gives issues & i am using one of their beta version of firmware which Merging support gave me. As per the Merging support this beta version resolves some of the issues of the last stable release. I do remember you talking to Master Fidelity about their new NADAC D dac, which also has the same networking capabilities as that of old NADAC. If you can check with them about releasing support for linux for their new NADAC D, then even older NADAC users can benefit from this support I guess. I have checked the network board and NADAC (old) uses the board for Horus, so I am guessing that they are keeping the network board same/similar across the products for better support and lesser work/confusion on their side.
