proper name is play queue (... 'till you save it: *then* it becomes a playlist! 😉) just add the album you want to "explore" and, when done, use the last "icon" on the right: it will replace anything already in your... *play queue* 😛

forgive me for resurrecting this thread but... I have a couple of questions 1) TT2 as preamp: volume control is digital, right? (so... "lossy" 🤨) 2) has anyone tried, and can report on, an M Scaler/TT2/BerTTi (or TToby) setup? thanks

... tried this way too 😢 EDIT: tried once more to scroll by holding on one icon and... it is working now 😶 EDIT2: ok, found how to scroll: just swipe on the icons bar *without* pressing/holding anything! 🙂

yup: that's what I'm trying to do :-/ used to work in the past (as I said I seldom use Lumin app on the iPhone)

@wklie Peter... I seldom use it but... yesterday I tried using my iPhone 15 Pro (iOS 17.5.1 - Lumin app 9.2.6) to control my new Lumin U2 Mini and I *can't scroll* to reach Qobuz :-/ (offline because I turned the NAS off. U2 Mini is playing Qobuz files but I had to use my iPad)

there was some discussion in the UpTone forum about *possible* benefits of passive DACs sure: one loses fiber's electrical isolation but... who knows (and anyway in our hobby... there's a large part of fun in just "messing" around 😜)

U2 here I already know about SFP only (I tried that SFP/SFP+ direct attach cable nonetheless, just to confirm it doesn't work) with Lumin streamers: in fact my question (to Peter) was (and still is): what about *1GB only* direct attach cables?

sure: it runs hot but... 4 and 1/2 *years* running my EtherREGEN (never, ever, turned it off) without the faintest issue 🙂

not sure if they did on that album but... they usually do on many non-classical music ones: just have a look anyway... the "Explicit" flag is in metadata (from Record Company/streaming service): Lumin (and *every* player app) just reads it from there
