View Classified Hemingway Z Core USB This is the best USB cable I have tried in my rig. I've compared FTA, Chord Serum T, and many others. There have only been a few of these to go up for sale over the past couple years and that is because unless you are getting out of digital, once you have this cable there is no reason to upgrade. This is the end-game USB. Last one I see that was listed sold for 2000 in 10 days. I don't have the original box but this will be packed for safe transport. Local pickup and audition available until I sell my digital rig. Seller Stephen_V Date 12/21/23 Price 1,900.00 USD Category Cables

View Classified APL DSD SR MK2 Up for sale is the APL DSD SR MK II. This DAC started it's life as a Mk II and was not upgraded from the original SR. Alex did an incredible job with this version and it was a significant upgrade over the original DSD SR. The DSD MR SE was created because the DSD SR Mk II bested the original MR (the flagship at the time). I have compared many DACs and this one has the sound that is the most 'high-end analog' I have found: super liquid, inky black background, detail not sacrificed. I don't think you will find close at this price point. https://hifiplus.com/articles/apl-dsd-sr-mk-2-digital-converter/ https://audiophilestyle.com/ca/reviews/review-apl-hifi-dsd-sr-mk2-dac-r912/ This comes with all original accessories and boxes. I'm actually kind of excited about the timeframe bit for classical. Hopefully it also has geographic region. -
View Classified Micro-rendu 1.4 with SBooster Price Reduction: for sale is a micro-rendu with HW 1.4 upgrade along with an SBooster Eco Power supply. I have found the power supplies to be one of he most important items when looking into digital and the difference this makes over the IFI is quite impressive. I have rated at an 8 out of 10 due to the rubber feet on the rendu being MIA. I believe I have the original boxes but will have to look around for them. Seller Stephen_V Date 08/08/20 Price 450.00 USD Category Music Servers / Streamers

Thanks for the insight, Bob! I guess I need to just download the Euphony OS and build a 1 piece server to see how I like it. Then I can experiment with another box.

Hi guys, Starting to go down the rabbit hole... I have a Roon Nucleus and a micro rendu. I borrowed a Lumin U1. The Micro-rendu is going to be sold and the U1 going back to the friend as he isn't selling it. I found the sound of the U1 not going through the nucleus and Roon to be much more realistic (better imaging, more air, and overall more musical). My Roon subscription needs refreshed in 3 days and I am considering not and instead going with Euphony or something else. My DAC sounds better in DSD. I am having trouble finding information about 2 box servers running HQPlayer and Euphony. Would one machine just run HQPLAYER and Euphony would be run on just the renderer? Any insight on sound with Euphony Stylus not having Roon touch the system vs with Roon? Should I just bite the bullet and buy lifetime Roon? Any threads with this information will be helpful. Best regards, Stephen
