What I mean, according to the message, is that NFS could be not activated on the kernel you are using on GP and your Pi. Something to check with Filippo. Are you using a specific kernel on your Pi ?

Yes you need to mount a remote drive (your NAS) in Gentooplayer and LMS would be able to find the path to your NAS.
