  1. From the forum in 2016...The Green means it was ripped previously and the new rip matches the previous rip: What does a green colored CRC mean? - dBpoweramp Forum Red would mean it did not match. From 2019: Question about the color of text for CRC - dBpoweramp Forum
  2. We had one of those! My brother figure out how to jump two toggles at once to get the Playboy Channel. Used to piss my Dad off...
  3. 10 is one of the best first LPs of all time. See if Youtube has PJ's first appearance on SNL ... completely different to the music SNL had been showing each week. I had never heard of them until that show.
  4. I still have my SBT from way back when and still use. But WiiM is just as good and a lot easier to use.
  5. I do not listen critically. Too much effort. Vast majority of my listening is background music, earbuds while riding my bike (indoors) or cutting grass or whenever. Even listening to vinyl is primarily background.
  6. That is a good later DLR track...Ain't Talkin' 'bout Love is still my favorite.
  7. Coke must have been good...only 20 minutes a side (first time I have ever listened):
  8. Logitech knew they had to clean up the software/OS. The SBT is brilliant but it can be painful to set up...particularly the USB out to DAC that came in a later firmware. I used to waste afternoons trying to connect a USB DAC. I still use the SBT but the WiiM has overtaken the SBT in all aspects. But I did not buy-in until LMS capability was available
  9. My introduction to streaming was via the SB Touch. After lots of cursing and messing about, I now run LMS on my QNAP NAS (7 yrs old) and use iPeng on my iPad/iPhone and stream to my Touch and WiiM player and it works great. I find Ravenna and other protocols interesting but until it can be done without buying a bunch of equipment, I am not overly interested.
  10. You realize, of course, that pigs do fly. Just ask any Pink Floyd fan. When Pink Floyd's Giant Inflatable Pig Broke Free (ultimateclassicrock.com)
  11. I think one needs to remember the timeframe the OPPO 105 came out...what 12-14 years ago? I have had my 103 at least 10 years... Hard digital media was still the copyright holders preferred method of delivery. I seem to recall similar discussions when the units came out that HDMI/USB were inferior methods of playback as OPPO did not want to be targeted by the big music entities. Reasonable to assume hard media playback was optimized over digital inputs.
  12. So sorry for you and your family. Celebrate the life he had. Take Care, Chris
