Interesting that this is essentially a 5.0.4 recording (5 channels in the bed and 4 objects?). I feel a little funny re-rendering to 7.1.4 but that is how atmos is supposed to work. Discrete immersive is ideal, but DXD is more than I want. I wish Spirit of Turtle had more 5.1.4 24/96 or so. I made a special request for that format for the recent Beethoven quartets, and Burt obliged.

I had some errors with unzipping the zip file (and some of the wav files were too large?) but no errors in rendering which is confusing. Here's the email just sent in response to their very quick reply I guess it's the price for being on the bleeding edge of things.

New atmos release https://audite.de/en/product/CD/20052-wild_mild.html Is there a technical problem with the download? Maybe. I get an error unzipping, and some of the unzipped ADM wav files seem too large, but they re-render OK. I sent them an email about it.

Also I'm lazy. I just finished re-rendering that Beethoven and still have not tagged it.

I didn't try that one. I was a little dubious re the age of the recordings.

Thanks for the info. I have an old Intel Mac but didn't manage to even find the plugin to buy. And I'm not a fan a jriver.

Is there a direct link for the plugin? I couldn't find it, which is not a good sign.

Sorry I thought they had sorted out their zip file situation when it *seemed* to be complete this morning. Bleeding edge tech is a little painful. Still they deserve encouragement for trying.

I'm pretty sure that Albert Einstein said that downloading the same file and getting different md5sums is the definition of things that make you go insane. I downloaded again and got a different sized zip file and 4 files that were different. The ones that don't work seem truncated. Audite seems to have a problem with generating the zip files correctly. EDIT the files in the 2nd download seem to load without error. The zip file is 18 GB and the md5sum is MD5 (BACH_reconstructed-2.zip) = 241ed0c19c773e4e6be1db8ad8118701

The download for this one https://audite.de/en/product/CD/97816-bach_reconstructed.html seems to be working now. This mix seems different from the other 2L and Audite ADM files that I've seen. Not that I know of. Searching on "Immersiv" "atmos" site:audite.de narrows things down. Finding their 5.1 downloads is also hard. Currently I think there are just those two and one on the way which looks available but the download is not working yet. (The zip file doesn't have all the files). Also a few in Apple Music in atmos like this one that don't seem to be available for download in atmos.
