    Hi Markus(?),

    I am interested in the iconoclast XLR cables, probably the 42".  I have attached a photo of my current cable, a 5ft TPC gen 2 from my phono pre to my preamp.  I think 42" would be fine, 36" might be pushing it. What do you think?

    Great review! Much thanks! And I have added the three albums to my list. I have been using my microRendu 1,4 for a long time. Perhaps it is time to upgrade!

    Would you please let me know what your symptoms were regarding the "instability issue" with your LPS-1.2? Also, what did you do, if anything, to correct the issue? Thanks

    Still looking for an "official" review. Pretty surprised that at least one didn't show up when they were released. I do have a good friend whose ears I trust that has a pair. He says they are the best he has ever heard, and he has heard a lot of them in his 74 years.

    Great series of articles on ATMOS music. I am looking forward to your processor selection. The dealer that supplied most of my 9.1.6 system (used primarily right now as a home theater, and I have a separate 2 channel system in another room) recommended Lyngdorf MP60 2.1 over a Trinnov due to the differences in room correction. He felt that Lyngdorf's Room Perfect worked without changing the basic sound of the speakers, while Trinnov's Optimizer did change the basic sound of the speakers. As the Trinnovs were out of my budget (the Lyngdorf was as well, but not so much) I was happy to go with the Lyngdorf. I like my Lyngdorf and am interested in your evaluation.

    I use my iPad and mconnectplayer HD to stream from my local server and Qobuz to my microRendu. Is the app actually streaming the files through the iPad?

    Sorry, looks like I spoke too soon. The problem was the LPS 1.2 (even though the LPS light was green) not the mR. The mR went cold so I tried an iFi PS which seems to have fixed the problem. I have contacted Alex. Thanks.

    I am unable to connect to the mR even after power cycling. Looks like it needs to go back to Sonore. Going to start looking for an alternative to Sonore...

    I am ready to give up on my microrendu 1.4. It continually drops out of my network and I have to unplug and plug it back in. And then it drops out again at varying times. At the moment I can't get any of my control points to connect. This has been happening since I installed 2.8. I would like to send it in for service. Can I get a RMA? Thanks. Jim

    I have had nothing but trouble with 2.8. I hope there is a bug fix coming soon!
