creativepart
For the last few weeks I've wanted to try Squeezelite with my new DAC. But when I try to load it in Eunhasu the loading wheel just spins endlessly. I've tried waiting as much as 30 mins but no joy. This started previously with my previous DAC, but I was using a DDC type device that changes USB to S/PDIF and I just figured that that device was somehow the cause. Now, I have a new DAC still connected to the SoTM via USB and the same issue exists. Any Ideas of how to overcome this issue and get Squeezelite to load in Enuhasu? I want to try it with my new DAC. It's been a while since I used that protocol, but it always worked before. creativepart
I just uninstalled LMS/Squeezelight and reinstalled it. The reinstallation seemed to act the same way. It stayed on "installing" a long time. When I hit "Cancel" it suddenly said it was installed. This hasn't made any difference. Still getting the endless spinning progress wheel when turning LMS/SQ on. I also tried uninstalling Shareport and MPD/DNLA to make sure that it wasn't an issue of too many installed packages. But no joy with this either. Roon Ready and HQP NAA start within 10 secs. Try to remove it again and reinstall … and be patient and don’t hit Cancel, here it is working without issues. If it doesn’t still work try to burn again the firmware on the microSD Stefano My audio system Link to comment

Try to set cpu performance, maybe depends on that Gerardo Link to comment
creativepart
Nope, I've set it to Performance and still the same. I uninstalled LMS/SQ and reinstalled it - I waited until it completed it took 17 min. I rebooted the system and tested the install again. After 18 mins of spinning wheel I closed out the interface. I'll reflash the card, but I need to get a new card for the process. creativepart
While waiting to receive the new SD Card, I veered left and installed Audirvana Studio. Wow, this sounds good! Real good. creativepart
I imaged a new SD Card and applied it to my SoTM. Then I updated the firmware to 5.61 Alpha and I was able to apply the LMS/Squeezelite module after that.
