I have the same problem as some others. Plugged in ER a few hours ago after receiving it today. It played fine for one song and then I couldn’t reconnect to my Ethernet dac. I tested a lot of different things. And the only way to get connection was to take ER out of the system. Then I tested to connect the other way through the moat as others have reported. Since then it’s working fine for an hour now. And I like it 🤗 here is my setup: Router > ER > Simaudio Moon 280D with ethernet card (Mind1) when I played the first song I had Aqvox switch just before ER. But disconnected it to take one possible problem out of the equation. I am a happy costumer and I will enjoy ER “backwards” confident that there will be a solution 🙂

Interesting that it’s faster direct from US to Sweden than UK to Sweden. But I think that something went wrong with DHL in my case. Apparently my package is travelling with truck, not by air. I hope that they haven’t messed up completely and lost my package. Then I will have to wait several months in line for another one. It would be costly for the healthcare because they will have to hospitalise me for mental reasons 🤪

So, you guys can brag all you want about your ER. But “my precious” is on a Europe tour. So when you’re enjoying the music I’m drowning maps in my frustrations 🤪 And the estimated delivery has now changed from yesterday to “We don’t know”

I can officially announce that DHL are in to the mental torture business. Tuesday I got an email from Martin at Audiostore UK with tracking number. My device was scheduled to arrive Friday, painfully far away in time from Tuesday. Thursday when I went to bed the tracking showed as announced that it then was I Denmark which was logical and close to Sweden. but when I woke up Friday morning it showed that the package was in Budapest which is far from. And after that made a trip to Austria which is the latest information when it’s now Saturday morning here in Sweden. I have never experienced something like this DHL is clearly in cooperation with the devil 👿

(I have highlighted the part in the text that relates to my question, hope that’s ok) Is this this true on a Simaudio Moon 280D with mind (Ethernet) card. And what would be the solution in that case? By the way, is there someone that have ordered from Audiostore UK and paid full amount that has got an indication that there ER is planned to ship?

I’m to waiting for my device from the dealer in UK. Very exciting times indeed. I’m glad and proud to have learned that there is a dealer here in Sweden. Sometimes it feels like this is a desert when it comes to people interested in this kind of products. I’m grateful that there is hero’s prepared to sell products with less profit. At the same time I understand the other dealers who need more profit to make there business go around. I have no deep technical understanding, but a feeling that this is exiting times. I hope that innovations like ER will open up beautiful music experience without have to pay the enormous amount that many great audio gear costs today. I wish I was technically skilled so I could feed my Dac with external power like UpTone LPS instead of the power supply built in the device. Maby that could be a way to take it to higher levels without buying another one. I like the thought to better things I already own. Clean power and signal is as I understand it the the way to go. Its not my intention to go of topic. If someone knows a thread or forum that cover power modifications on DACs I would be grateful for tips. I wish us all wonderful experiences with ER.

A big moment. I just made the payment to Audiostore for my unit in the first run. I just can’t miss this one!

I have had contact with the main distributor in Sweden for my dac and he is curious about EtherRegen as many of his products have the possibility to connect directly via ethernet. I promised to tell him my impressions later on. I think that there is an enormous demand for this kind of product but many don’t know of EtherRegen at this point and maby that’s a good thing. Otherwise UpTone world have an impossible task to meet up with the demand. I have just had to quit my job because of health reasons. I'm in the first round from Audio Store. but may not be able to get the money right now. we'll see. If that is the case someone else will have the chance to get one from the first run, and I can get on the train later on. And that’s a good thing to 🙂 Right now I'm using a hard and software optimized NUC and it sounds really good. but I'd much rather use EtherRegen directly into the dac over the network. I have an AQVOX Switch gen 1, but it does not produce as good sound as through USB. I have a strong feeling that EtherRegen may be the answer for many who just like me to take out the computer in the chain. Congratulations to all of you who will soon know the answer 🙂. It warms my heart that your hard work has been acknowledged by the incredible response that first hour of sales. you are worth all the praise you can get ❤️. Without technical knowledge I have tried to find an answer in the question if USB or Ethernet connection is the best way to go SQ wise. I understand that it’s a very complex question with a lot of parameters to consider. Maby Etherregen will be a new parameter in that debate. I have a dac that can do both connections. Lately I have tested some software optimisations that really makes a difference in USB connection. But right or wrong my hope is that Ethernet in the future would be the preferred way to go. I don’t want to take this thread in the wrong direction. Maby someone can point me to a good source in the matter?

This is my first post in this forum. First I want to tell you that English is not my native language. I hope you have patience. I have followed this thread for a long time with interest. I admire enthusiasts who put their soul into creating the best conditions possible to reproduce the music as it was created. I am impressed by what you create and wait patiently for the product to come into my setup. I think it's good that you take the time you need to make you feel satisfied and ready to launch. I have several products in my setup that are made by enthusiasts whose goal is greater than just making money. It is nothing wrong in makeing money. but if it is the highest goal, it often leads to short-term decisions that rarely yield the best results in the long run. I am not technically savvy. so it is difficult for me to judge how great the product will do in my system. But every litle bit of disturbance thats cleaned out of the signal adds up to a better musical experience. Thank you for your work and the way you communicate with us followers.
