I enjoy the Wilson remixes. Some aspects of the YES remixes do sound more clear with separation of instruments. However, some of the sonic impact is more even - not flat just less volume. This works in some cases but for me has created a need to have different mixes available. My copy of the Wilson mix for Tales does not include the ocean sounds from the 2003 remix I thought really added a fun layer of intro to the Revealing Science of God opener. I like to have the different copies of this album and mixes to compare.
