Have you tried Doug Adams' app "Save Album Art to Album Folder"? It is much simpler than your process.

No exact date, today, this week etc like you. I do not see any differentiate at all?

When I select the recently added tab in the Apple Music app, it shows all the albums in my library. It used to show the date above the albums. Did the setting change? Thanks in advance.

I have just noticed this checkmark next to my album cover. It is on every album in this library, my two other libraries do not have it. What does it mean?

Thanks Kirk. I was looking for a file or files to backup. Guess ithe library file is it.

I am looking at my Music App files on my MacBook. I do not see playlist stored with the music files. Is there another place? I constantly back up the files and do not see Playlist on the backup drive either. Thanks for any help.

I have four macs that serve as music storage for my homes. I try to keep the Music App library as consistent as possible in the four. I selected artist view on the left of the app, and on three apps the list begins with compilations. The fourth begins with an artist name alphabetically. I cannot find a setting or preference to include compilations in the artist view. What am I missing? Thanks for you help.
