Perhaps it isn't the best option for a beginner but I can certainly appreciate the comprehensive nature of the package.

It offers an easy to use input switching funtion, easy to implement high and low pass filters.

It seems that as soon as I have Soundsource downloaded and installed on my computer, HQ Player won't work properly. I have talked to the developers of Soundsource and they tried with no luck as well- they replied: "I also checked with our engineering team about this behavior, and it seems that HQ Player is running in a kind of exclusive mode that blocks other software's access to audio streams it's using. If you can disable this setting, then you might be able to get this setup to work with our software, otherwise, you may need to take HQ Player out of the picture and try to accomplish the need it is serving with something else." Is this the case and if so, is it possible to disable this setting in HQ Player? Thanks.

I took a look at the 38 page manual and really didn't see anything that provided enough info for me to be able to add high and low pass filters. Was hoping for some sort of step by step instructions somewhere....Or maybe if anyone has done this they could post a screen shot of the matrix page? Thanks!

2 more questions! 1. Is there a way to get HQ player to simply play input directed to it without having to press the play button every time? Playing music to it with Amazon Music, it because rather inconvenient to have to press the play arrow every time a new song begins...??? 2. Is there a tutorial somewhere on adding high and low pass filters? I am using Acoustat speakers which don't have normal crossovers- I would like to just send 20-100Hz to each pair of L and R subs, then have the Acoustats high passed from 100Hz on up. Later, I will get into the complexities of room correction, driver correction, and EQ but for now, would like to take this next step. Thanks again!
