  1. Thanks. Should I use HT or disable it?
  2. I am using game ready drivers and it's the latest one. Just getting an update right now. The CPU measurements are with EC (lowest). Nothing else is working. I am running only Roon and HQP and Chrome. Nothing seems to use CPU other than HQP. I just noticed that when the song start the it does show resampler=enabled convolution=disabled. Does it mean offloading does work?
  3. I tried again without fidelizer this time. I am running HQP normally. When it starts it shows: offload: resampler=disabled convolution=disabled I am using Roon to drive HQP. CPU behaves the same. It's low in total (~25%) with uneven distribution. CPU0, 12 are full rest are low:
  4. I'm using stock Windows 10 (pro latest build). I am running Fidelizer pro (purist option) also to launch HQP (giving it priority). I am using full CUDA offload (3090 RTX) and multicore DSP. Both are checked. For CPU I have AMD TR 1920x overclocked to 4.0Ghz and HT is enabled (showing 2x12 = 24 cores)
  5. Trying sinc-L filters in DSD512 with EC modulators. Only able to get smooth but sensitive with sinc-Lm and EC5. Anything else does not work. From some reason I see CPU usage is not even. Total CPU is not passing 25%. I have 12 cores + HT running at 4.0Ghz (showing 24 in total). Is this how it should work? I am using the multi-cores option. Seems like I need a stronger single core.

Thanks. I did feel step up using sinc-M and sinc-L filters (the ones I can use). I did not feel a big difference with EC modulators in DSD256. The DSD512 without EC, sounds a bit better to me. It may also be specific to T+A DAC. May be that DSD512 is the sweet spot for this DAC.

I am testing HQP with T+A DAC8. I am able to run Sinc-LI with any of the EC modulators with DSD256, but DSD512 with none. Both options sound amazing. I still find the DSD512 a bit better to me than DSD256 + EC. Does anyone have the same experience? Do you know if EC with DSD512 is going to be a significant difference?
  8. I wonder why my AMD 1920x running at 4.0GHz, with similar specs to the 12700K, is not capable of doing any of the EC modulators at DSD512 (everything works fine at DSD256). I know it's older model but I was hoping it could do the lower ones. 12700K: 12 Cores, 20 Threads @3.6GHz, Alder Lake. Release date: Q4 2021. 1920x: 12 Cores, 24 Threads @3.5GHz, Zen. Release date: Q3 2017.
  9. Where can I get the 2006be15r2 and oemtool from? I can't seem to find it.
  10. Thanks for the comments and recommendations. Is there a preference between AMSDM7EC 512+fs and ASDM7ECv2?
  11. I have T+A DSD, AMD 1920x and 3070 RTX. I can do the following without issues (CPU + CUDA): 1. 48kxDSD512, AMSDM7 512+fs, poly-sinc-xtr-lp (use so far before EC) 2. 48kxDSD512, ASDM5EC, poly-sinc-xtr-lp (using today) 2. 48kxDSD256, ASDM7ECv2 poly-sinc-xtr-lp (used in past months) Which of the 3 options is considered better? DAC should preferably run at DSD512 but ASDM7ECv2 can be superior even at 256.
  12. With 4.17 I can do ASDM7ECv2 and DSD256. (1920x AMD no CUDA). Nice!
  13. Update. Waiting longer it does get to high number with ext3 which currently sounds better to me.
  14. Thanks @Miska. This is helpful. I will do a few more listening tests 😀 I am playing through Roon and Limited / Apod is always 0/0 in both options.
  15. I am using T+A DSD. I have been using poly-sinc-xtr-lp with 48x512 and ASDM7 512+fs for long time and was happy with it. I just found out about the EC modulators. With my current HW I cannot use the ASDM7ec versions. After trying a few options, I am able to use either ASDM5ec or ASDM7ec 512+fs at DSD256. Not sure what is the difference. I also trying to decide between ext3 and xtr-lp. Still not sure which one is better. I will be happy to get some technical explanation or what people prefer to use with T+A.
