I use Ramsystem only for endpointpc. very fast includes only a few features web-interface will be disabled, so requires an ssh connection the pc must be wired lan Once you click on EXCUTE the web-interface will no longer be reachable, you will have to login via ssh and you can reboot the PC with reboot and return to its original state or enable the ramsystem at boot with ramsystem_enable.

@WuBai A little tip. You don't have to connect your target to router. There is a other option: On host: Menu 8: network bridge. Select eth 0 and eth 1. Now your target gets a ip address. After your done select network bridge remove. I think having network bridge on impact sound quality negative You are really amazing by trying all that settings in gentooplayer and than remembering if its benefits to a better sound quality. What a time you put into it😱

Can't you restart Squeezelite? (utility - restart service) @WuBai please tell us😁 Also My question about Target Diretta setting is to run at a latency of 6 which you mentioned.

Just try. After reboot, the setting is gone

After restarting host (did take more than 30 minutes) LMS still crashed. But restart does work again. Systeminfo display correct information again. But LMS still crashing by starting gentooplayer.

@antonellocaroli LMS does not work anymore when in ram modus. Its crashing restart doesn't work anymore. Crashing of LMS when in RAM started with 8.7. Until now restarting it with the restart service did the trick. Stable after that. But now with 8.8 it doesn't work anymore. Yesterday i tried rammode 6 with modules and firmware. After that Gentoo crashed completely. Now with a new install still crashing and no restarting possible. I did get a other report of somebody with the same results. Arghhh after typing al this, Systeminfo stil displays crashing of LMS. But lms does play music out of the sudden. What does this? Personally i never used this. But a audio friend dit use it. If somebody uses this after first start on a diretta target. Could it be that it couses a not start able target

Host on ram 6: Magic. It falls All together. Love it. Until the next update or change 😉

First thing to mention there is also a non clto 6.6.47 kernel. Very very first impression: 6.6.47-GentooPlayer-ULLTRA-2000-CLTO+ on my target with ram. On my host: 6.9.2-GentooPlayer-ULLTRA-2000-CLTO-TEST+ (without ram) Warmer, more depth and wider sound. Nice to try for a longer period. When i also install 6.6.47-GentooPlayer-ULLTRA-2000-CLTO+ on host its getting muddy. Voices arent nice to hear. Its getting "distorted" On host back to 6.9.2-GentooPlayer-ULLTRA-2000-CLTO-TEST+ Haven't tried any of the other possibilities.

Coming back to this after my earlier reaction. I just removed Ramsystem Mode End Point from my target to test the new kernels. I just say it really needs Ramsystem Mode End Point. Without it a hard and more clinical sound. (Can't say anything yet about the new kernel)
