20 bit should be fine....but maybe 18 is even better. no, it doesn't matter..... the sdm works at 1bit exactly....the 18-20 bit set only has a function when you use PCM I have an Ares 2 and Jussi at the time recommended setting these bits due to the better linearity of the signal he found. I suppose the same settings can also be valid for Venus II.....🙄

tried the embedded release 4.35.0 previous settings: poly-sinc-gauss-long to 1x poly-sinc-gauss-hires-lp on nx asdm5ECv2 and dsd 256 x44.1/48 .... everything works perfectly... with 4.35.0 I tried to do... asdm7ECv2 to 256 x44.1/48 but no success.... evidently my cpu ( i7 6700 ) is quite dated and can't handle the calculation with the asdm7ECv2 modulator at dsd 256, i don't use any convolution. I thought the small improvement others had might allow me to use a different modulator. not bad huh! ....works very well with asdm5ECv2 as well Jussi, thank you always for the excellent work and effort you put into your work.

no gpu running. only embedded on bootable stick the server has no gpu installed

speaking of linux...... the solution i'm trying is Embedded on bootable stick and naa image on micro-sd + adapter. no problems and everything works fine...... my question is : why install an operating system on the pc (both linux and windows) when the simple flash drive with Embedded works so well?

a question..... Embedded which formatting on HDD handles best? ex Fat ... Fat32 .... I omit ntfs because I sometimes use the HDD also on macs.

here is a 19khz ( sinosuidal ) signal produced by a NOS dac ( metrum musette ) the signal is clearly very unstable .... under the same signal using HQP and upsampling the same signal to 384khz..... ......sometimes a simple picture can say much more than many words

Jussi one question.... why on pcm you use the dither TPDF and not LNS15 ( perhaps ) more appropriate for the output at 1.536 mhz ? it is true that the TPDF does not generate load on the cpu .... but on pcm and with those filters and that sampling it does not seem to me that the load is excessive ......
