  1. @ Alex: What would be your recommendation soundwise - Mutec REF10 (@ 3,600 $) or Mutec Nano + JS-2 LPS (@ 2,760 $ + extra costs for optional cables for AC and DC)?
  2. @ Alex: Are the outputs of the Nano truly isolated from each other or would it break any moat, if I use to drive 2 daisy-chained EtherRegens (ER1 B-side > ER2 A-side > ER2 b-side > streamer) with one Nano only?
  3. Alex, could you tell us, what phase noise ratios - in your opinion - a good built-in clock should have at least?
  4. View Classified FS: BG7TBL 10M OCXO word-clock for EtherRegen and others Selling a BG7TBL 10M OCXO word-clock. It didn't came into use, so it's for sale. 5. I had read the posting in the other thread too, but can't confirm. In my setup 1 the Hypsos running on 12V delivers more body, more dynamics and a wider sound stage. It's definately not much, but on the Hypsos I prefer 12V over the 9V, which Ferrum recommends as a preset for the ER. But results could be different with a Farad Super3... And as I said, different setups can lead to different results. Otherwise, you could choose the Hypsos and finetune the voltage setting to your tasting (highly advised).
  6. Has someone had the chance to test a Teddy Pardo 12/2 with the ER as proposed by Alex in the ER-thread?
  7. I had opted for 12V according to the cheaper 12V Zerozone LPS I had in use before I ordered the Farad Super3s. AND I was able to try different voltage settings with the Ferrum Hypsos. In the end, IMO it might all come down to your setup, if you will hear any major differences. (If you can't make up your mind, which one to choose, you might order both (9V and 12 V) and return the one you don't like. I think, restocking is possible.)
  8. I have finished testing and taken out the BG7TBL off my chain, as it clearly degraded the sound quality. With the BG7TBL the sound was thinner, with more noise and less depth.
  9. Thanks for your advice. I have tried unplugging the USB-line while listening to the Ethernet input. Unplugging in fact really did improved the sound-quality a bit.
  10. T+A MP3100HV. It´s an integrated DAC/SACD-Player/Streamer with internet.
  11. Will this still be an issue, if I use an IsoRegen on the USB-line (5V engaged/disengaged)? And would it make any difference, if I connectd two different sources (with 2 seperated LPS) two the DAC (with/without IsoRegen)? I have the internet connected to my DAC/Streamer over Ethernet via EtherRegen (with Farad Super3) and a Melco N-100 (NAS/Streamer) connected over USB via Iso-Regen (with Zerozone LPS). Is this ok / not ok?
  12. Oops, I got that mixed up. DC-cables between Super3s and ERs are Farad Level 2 Silver Cables. The Ghent DC-cables feed my Melco-gear.
  13. Zerozone r-core LPS on BG7BTL (with Blue Jean cables), 2 separate Farad Super3s on the two ERs with Gotham JSSG360 DC-cables from Ghent Audio. No filters, as my BG7BTL is 75 ohm square wave only.
  14. I have just compared my BG7TBL (with 3 square wave 75 ohm outputs) feeding 2 ERs (2 clock cables from 2 outputs) to feeding just the last of the 2 ERs (1 clock cable): The second option gave better results. Sound had more depth and body. Highs were cleaner. Bass had more texture.
