  1. KKBOX streaming service support for U2 / U2MINI / P1MINI / T3 / D3 is released. Please upgrade Firmware to 18.0, Lumin iOS app to 10.0, Lumin Android app to 7.0 . All Lumin models receive Firmware 18 upgrade, but only the above models support KKBOX. For other models, you may use Roon to play KKBOX. KKBOX lossless is only available in Singapore, Taiwan, and Hong Kong. Note: 1. KKBOX display language (e.g. music categories and track and artist names) is fixed to be Chinese if user signs up in Taiwan or Hong Kong, regardless of Lumin app language setting. 2. KKBOX is currently limited to lossy if user signs up in Malaysia or Japan. We also made a lot of improvements for browsing Qobuz in Lumin app: Add Qobuz Playlists by category Add Qobuzissime Add Essential Discography Add Still Trending Add (Tap and hold) Artist - Top Tracks Add (Tap and hold) Artist - Related Artists Change Artist - Album to use server side sorting (load faster) Split subscribed Qobuz Playlist and User Playlist into separate sections Add Qobuz Free Trial For previously reported Lumin app issues here (not enhancement requests) that we could consistently reproduce, they are also fixed.
  2. Of course it should not. When it does stutter, it can be caused by network infrastructure fault, temporary Tidal server CDN issue, temporary Qobuz server CDN issue, ISP fault, NAS fault, USB drive issue, file corruption, or Lumin hardware fault. That's why it is necessary to try each of them to find out the root cause. I was not telling the user to not play anything. I was telling him to test everything. Your doctor analogy is not finding the root cause.
  3. @chungjh Please power cycle your whole network of devices starting from the router, including Lumin, iPad and NAS. Also try a different device to run Lumin app such as iPhone and Android device. If the tracks that cause stutter are from NAS, please try using USB drive or Tidal/Qobuz streaming instead. If the tracks that cause stutter are from Tidal, try Qobuz or USB drive. If the tracks that cause stutter are from Qobuz, try Tidal or USB drive.
  4. Please confirm you've enabled multiTag from MinimServer.
  5. For Lumin users: Qobuz 60 days free trial: https://try.qobuz.com/lumin-2024/ *You will be asked to provide payment credentials but you wouldn’t be charged.
  6. When I check it again today, the abnormality of the album itself is fixed (by Qobuz, I assume). Please remove this album from your Lumin current playlist, then re-add the album again.
  7. This is not a bug with Lumin. Generally for Lumin gapless playback, you need to disable Shuffle and Multi-Room, add the whole album to the playlist, and play from start to finish. The whole album needs to have the same format - sample rate and bit depth. This particular album is abnormal in that some tracks are 24/96, but some other tracks in the same album are 16/44.1. Purchasing the same album with inconsistent sample rates will NOT grant you gapless playback.
  8. Lumin has always allowed the iPad / iPhone / Android running Lumin app to be offline by simply playing the current play list (queue) - in this case you don't need to use Lumin app as long as you don't need to edit the playlist or change the Lumin volume. Some systems are affected by WiFi RFI more so than others (recall that decades ago GSM phones induce noise on speakers), so it's not a surprise to learn that some users feel that turning off WiFi / Bluetooth interference would make a positive impact for them on their setups in their own environment. (Not saying this is universally true for everybody for every setup in every environment.)
  9. I don't know who is being discussed, but many years ago we visited an audiophile who powers down his whole network in order to have the best sound quality from his vinyl setup, and made sure all phone chargers are unplugged.
  10. We've made a lot of changes for Lumin app Qobuz: Qobuz Playlists by category Qobuzissime Essential Discography Still Trending (Tap and hold) Artist - Top Tracks (Tap and hold) Artist - Related Artists Artist - Album to use server side sorting (load faster) Split subscribed Qobuz Playlist and User Playlist into two sections It is now available as a beta Android app apk. Those who like to try this beta apk please send me a PM.
  11. Differences between NT-07 and U2: Exclusive to Luxman NT-07: Luxman aesthetics to match Luxman gear EI core transformer with 2 x 10,000uF capacitors HDMI audio input (note: not I2S) and ARC (note: TV must be set to stereo PCM and Dolby/DTS off) Comes with remote control RC-30 12V trigger input/output Exclusive to Lumin U2: Lumin toroidal transformer AES output SFP fiber network Leedh Processing Volume Support Plex Default selection of FLAC radio stations Multi-room playback with multiple Lumin units using Lumin app (Lumin physical remote is separately purchased) Firmware feature differences as of August 2024 - may change in the future.
  12. I think PCM should work. Please try this and let me know your result.
  13. Yes it works with HDMI Audio in an AV receiver. It is not I2S and therefore it won't work with I2S DAC. Do not connect HDMI Audio to I2S (over HDMI cable). What external DAC are you referring to?
  14. MinimServer / Tidal / Qobuz ? iOS / Android? The bottom Back button (from Backward / Forward navigation) or the top Back button that is left hand side of the Tidal / Qobuz directory button?
  15. @Roy Boy We'll look into this use case and see if this is something that can be improved.
