I am having malware issues with the Gustard A26 firmware update link provided by [email protected] (Mediafire..) Can anyone assist on this issue! Can someone provide a google cloud so that I can download a safe copy ? Many Thx in advance

I connect a 5v supercapacitor filter unit to my Hqplayer PC and then plug in a USB-C 1000mbps ethernet adapter, Works wonders! Of course I hv a subnet LAN for my music system and fiber optic isolation with a IFi LAN filter and a TP link modem upstream of my Hqplayer PC and Gustard A26 streaming DAC

Thx to @bogi and @Miska for the hints and advice to get streaming fr Apple Music/iTunes working on Hqplayer NAA mode! Makes my Gustard A26 that much more a value proposition!! 👍👏 Doing SQ chks still shows my preference for HifiCable ASIO Bridge direct from itunes to my U18/A26 lAfterDark clock chain. Tho I hear bass DSP enhancement thru iTunes playbk engine!

The differnce was NOT to select the ASIO input on HifiCable setting! it distorts if u do! I chose a different asio usb device ( for my case, Realtek pc card, Combo384 , or iFi idsd bl! But the Sound was still routed to the Gustard A26 NAA mode Then everything worked

Yes finally cracked it! but VB Cable still distorts thru audio:default/44100/2! Then i switched to Hificable /Asio with my DDC as Asio device!!! No signal Then i tried Wasapi/HifiCable and beautiful sounds came thru audio:default/44100/2 ! Can upsample even to DSD256 v3 modulator at cpu if 3.5 ghz all 8 cores of my 11900k pc! No stuttering!

on My 11900k PC/Win 11 pro the distortion remains whether I use the Gustard A26, Gustard A22 or the iFi iDSD BL .. I tried different usb port! Will continue tests to try isolate the problem! No other SW trying to use the ASIO driver?? I will my 11600k PC/win10 pro next.. V strange! meanwhile back to Hifi cable out to my Gustard A26 thru the Gustard U18 with the AfterDark Master clock at 44.1 khz iTunes/Apple Music! Very very nice music

I will try that ! On my Win 10 laptop , VB cable/Wasapi on backend n ASIO /iFi iDSD BL on output end work just fine ( i kept it to 44.1-192 khz as it is a v old laptop! On my 11900k Hqplayer PC /Win11 pro .. it has output sound but heavy distortion! No difference whether PCM or DSD output! Tomorow I try on my 11600k Win 10 pro PC and report bk! And i will try using the networkaudiod on this 11600k pc too! @Miska will this work with my Gustard A26 on LAN mode??

I say again Wasapi may work with Deezer.. Hv not managed to get ituned to work with Wasapi

I hv Virtual and Hifi audio cable ! Cant get it to loop back on Apple Music ! @Miska hasxadvised hardware device needed! Wasapi does not go well with iTunes And You cant hv 2 Asio devices on Hqplayer

Can anyone confirm if the hifime s2 digi can be used for loopback for ITunes/Apple Music on Windows 11?? I can output a optical signal using hificable and my pc sound card - a Realtek card. Planning to output this to a hifime s2 digi, use the hifime s2 digi then as a usb device (default setting) and process the itunes output through hqplayer's filters snd modulators???

I choose Monitoring ! Better Transparency! Much as I invest in fiber optic isolation, a iFi LAN iSilencer , and linking my AfterDark Queen 10 mhz clock direct to the A26, the NAA Mode I find better than the direct USB connection fr my Hqplayer Server... BUT USB to my U18 DDC clocked with my AfterDark Queen Master Clock trumps every other mode!

On my Gustard A26 , DSD512 48k family plays but may hv a dropout once every 20 seconds. On DSD Direct thru I2S , total silence(i hv the Gustard U18 feeding the i2s )! On the A26 menu , there is NO add sound color menu(i had the SMSL VMS D1 b4 and the sound dsp options were present.. ) Just plays nice and smooth esp on DSD512 44khz rate family

i am in the upsampling Hqplayer group! rpi 3/4 goid for that?
