This product is primarily designed for system disks, and Alpha Audio's test was conducted under the data disk. It is not because of their review that we are saying this. Our initial design was solid aluminum with copper plating. Those existing small heat sinks can be used as long as they are the right size.

I regret to report the behavior of our SSD testers @Dev (Debjit Ghosh). He started testing on 2021/9/4 and did not return the product. We have a design version of the heat sink, and there are photos on the official website, which should be able to meet your needs, but it has been difficult to mass produce. Due to the appearance of this SSD, commercially available shield/heatsink may not be installed.

Mac Mini 2012 should not support NVMe, I think the entire series of Mac Mini are too compact and not high enough to install this NVMe.
