  1. Sorry to insist but: Something do not work when using --set-transport 2 "/smb/folder containing .dsf files" (/smb/Black Sabbath/1970 - Black Sabbath - Paranoid - 2010 contains .dsf files): 1) /Applications/hqp5-control.app/Contents/MacOS/hqp5-control 192.168.1.51 --set-transport 2 "/smb/Black Sabbath/1970 - Black Sabbath - Paranoid - 2010" 2) /Applications/hqp5-control.app/Contents/MacOS/hqp5-control 192.168.1.51 --play ->/Applications/hqp5-control.app/Contents/MacOS/hqp5-control 192.168.1.51 --playlist-get give nothing But it's OK using: 1) /Applications/hqp5-control.app/Contents/MacOS/hqp5-control 192.168.1.51 --set-transport 2 2) /Applications/hqp5-control.app/Contents/MacOS/hqp5-control 192.168.1.51 "file:///smb/Black Sabbath/1970 - Black Sabbath - Paranoid - 2010" 3) /Applications/hqp5-control.app/Contents/MacOS/hqp5-control 192.168.1.51 --play ->/Applications/hqp5-control.app/Contents/MacOS/hqp5-control 192.168.1.51 --playlist-get display all the folder's .dsf files PS: There is no issue when folder contains .flac files. But now, I have a workaround to "handle" .dsf files.
  2. Something do not work when using --set-transport 2 "/smb/something containing .dsf files" like: 1) /Applications/hqp5-control.app/Contents/MacOS/hqp5-control 192.168.1.51 --set-transport 2 "/smb/Black Sabbath/1970 - Black Sabbath - Paranoid - 2010/01 - Black Sabbath - War Pigs.dsf" 2) /Applications/hqp5-control.app/Contents/MacOS/hqp5-control 192.168.1.51 --play But it's OK using: 1) /Applications/hqp5-control.app/Contents/MacOS/hqp5-control 192.168.1.51 --set-transport 2 2) /Applications/hqp5-control.app/Contents/MacOS/hqp5-control 192.168.1.51 "file:///smb/Black Sabbath/1970 - Black Sabbath - Paranoid - 2010" 3) /Applications/hqp5-control.app/Contents/MacOS/hqp5-control 192.168.1.51 --play
  3. Indeed, /Applications/hqp5-control.app/Contents/MacOS/hqp5-control 192.168.1.51 --playlist-get display nothing But, with same album (and so same permissions), via HQPlayer5Client music play well and log display: + 2024/09/17 08:14:19 Control connection from [2a02:1210:7e4c:8a00:71ac:e3a7:a322:78f8]:64163 + 2024/09/17 08:14:19 Control started from [2a02:1210:7e4c:8a00:71ac:e3a7:a322:78f8]:64163 & 2024/09/17 08:14:47 Playlist add file: /smb/Black Sabbath/1970 - Black Sabbath - Paranoid - 2010/01 - Black Sabbath - War Pigs.dsf & 2024/09/17 08:14:47 PlayLast & 2024/09/17 08:14:47 GoTo 1 & 2024/09/17 08:14:47 Play 2024/09/17 08:14:47 Offload: resampler=disabled convolution=disabled + 2024/09/17 08:14:47 Playback engine running 2024/09/17 08:14:47 IntegratorM: FIR2 so, how to do the same via hqp-control-5150?   6. To be noted: /Applications/hqp5-control.app/Contents/MacOS/hqp5-control 192.168.1.51 --playlist-upload "file:///Users/me/temporary_playlist" QIODevice::read (QFile, "file:///Users/me/temporary_playlist"): device not open
  7. @Miska: Using "hqplayer-embedded-5.7.0-x64avx2": with hqp-control-5150: "temporary_playlist" is a file containing the result of a "--playlist-get" request. /Applications/hqp5-control.app/Contents/MacOS/hqp5-control 192.168.1.51 --playlist-upload "/Users/me/temporary_playlist" do not return any error. But then, an /Applications/hqp5-control.app/Contents/MacOS/hqp5-control 192.168.1.51 --playlist-get do not return anything. What do I missing, how to use '--playlist-upload' ? Thanks for helping! 8. @Miska: Using "hqplayer-embedded-5.7.0-x64avx2" and playing music from Qobuz: with hqp-control-5150, how to use '--next' and '--previous'? Thanks for helping!
  9. @Miska: Using "hqplayer-embedded-5.7.0-x64avx2" and playing a playlist: with hqp-control-5150, I have encountered the following issue: Case When a playlist track is playing, the --status command returns something like: "status: 2 4/16 5:0 -3.000000 0/0 301.557551/1142.000000 5:1/14:0/19:2 {n} (1505147)". When the next track automatically plays:: 1) If the "new" track is from the same album as the previous track, --status returns: "status: 2 5/16 5:0 -3.000000 0/0 301.557551/1142.000000 5:1/14:0/19:2 {n} (1505147)". 2) If the "new" track is from a different album than the previous track, --status returns: "status: 0 0/0 0:0 -3.000000 0/0 0.000000/0.000000 0:0/0:0/0:0 {n} (0)". Questions Why, in case 2, is a new --status request required to receive the updated status? Is there a workaround to this behavior to keep receiving the updated status without "interruption"? Thanks for helping!

  11. @Miska: There's this kind of message in the log when the music suddenly stops: ? 2024/07/31 08:35:59 clStreamReaderHTTP::WaitRead(): timeout! Do you have any ideas or advice? I'm using hqplayer-embedded-5.7.0-x64avx2 . Thanks for helping!

  13. @Miska : With hqp-control-5150: For example : with a playlist of 7 items: If item 3 (title say "Take the 'A' train") is the one that is playing, --get-status give 2 3/7 ... executing --playlist-move-down 1, --get-status give 2 3/7 ... executing --playlist-move-down 2, --get-status give 2 3/7 ... executing --playlist-move-down 3, --get-status give 2 4/7 ... executing --playlist-move-down 4, --get-status give 2 5/7 ... but from the loudspeakers audio point of view, the only track played is always "Take the 'A' train". At that point --playlist.get give "Take the 'A' train" as item 2. So it seems that, in this case, --get-status doesn't give the right index for the track currently playing, or have I missed something? PS: --playlist-move-up seems to have the same type of behaviour. Thanks for helping!
  14. On an HQPlayer OS 5.6.2 machine, I begin to see this kind of message: CIFS: ___readahead_batch() returned 991/1024 (991 is an example), any ideas? Thanks for helping!
