I would only be able to have one output at a time active via the HQPe configuration page. I’ll need to go back and try again when my home internet gets back up and running. We had a storm (Helene) come through here so it has been down since Fri. I have a Fitlet2 fed by Ethernet and one usb attached to Holo Spring3, another attached to Lampizator DAC.

I haven't been able to have 2 USB outputs active at once. I have v5.

Yes, this works with embedded. You just need to restart hqplayerd or refresh devices upon switching. I don’t use Hqplayer desktop.
  4. It’s nice to know the A4000 can keep up.
  5. Me too, but it still says Jammy 22.04 on the “about” page?
  6. Which gets hot, the PSU or DAC? My Soring L2 V3 gets barely warm - constantly on for 3 mos since receiving it- and even sitting on an Integra DTC 9.8 pre/pro which is warm/hot. Maybe I am good 😊
  7. I am perfectly happy with Spring L2 V3. I think the main question for me is whether the May would provide a noticeable jump in performance. I don’t have 2x 1U slots available currently however, unless the PS for the May has an extra long umbilical option.
  8. Used Pass X5 an oldie but good and if you feel inclined could even send it back to Pass for recapping and still be in budget. I did this with mine a couple of years ago. https://www.audiogon.com/listings/lisbb58i-pass-labs-x5-5-channel-power-amplifier-67941-multi-channel-amps
  9. Thanks so much, I’m already on low latency and it updates automatically with the usual commands. So, for CUDA update, this is all I need?
  10. So just insert 550 instead of 535? Are the lib packages related to CUDA? CUDA update is the hardest thing for me

That’s a good question. I’m not sure if I know enough to answer. Maybe @Miska can chime in or some other gurus here. 🤩 I don’t use convolution but can do pretty much every filter except Sinc Long with DAC correction to dsd512x48. I use xla out of preference too for 1x but gauss long for nx. My GPU etc is in my sig.

Yes, for example 16gb GPU ram is minimum for SDM output to DSD512 with longer/heavier filters like Sinc-L (without DAC correction engaged -if applicable). I don’t think anyone has come up with a recommendation for minimum vram with lighter filters, Dsd512, and DAC correction yet, but it makes a difference I would suspect.

I haven’t actually checked on this since the most recent iOS update of Client. The original intent was to play through the iPad to prevent sleep of the iPad and resulting loss of connection to Qobuz. Not sure if this is still an issue or maybe it was handled in another way. I have noticed, though, that iOS Client tends to lose connection after play stops frequently- and requires reloading of the app to reconnect.
  14. I just do the second one after and then confirm the update via the web interface.
  15. What DSD 128 source do you use to test gapless playback? I don’t think I have a suitable one.
